DAY 2
Matchday 2 Group B (Men’s): 9:15 – FRANCE 49 – 10 CHILE
The match was highly contested in the first few minutes, with Chile effectively attacking the open defense proposed by France. The second part of the first half was clearly dominated by France with many quick transitions. In the second half, France came out determined to improve their goal difference and achieve the objective of the match. They used the 6:0 and 5:1 defenses, which disrupted the Chilean attack, preventing them from creating clear scoring opportunities. The game was already decided, and it was only a matter of seeing if France could achieve the desired margin on the scoreboard.

Matchday 2 Group A (Men’s): 11:30 – BRAZIL 18 – 34 POLAND
A match that was expected to be more contested saw Poland leaving no room for Brazil at any point. Poland came out with a very strong 6:0 defense and several players over 2 meters tall, making it impossible for the Brazilians who repeatedly clashed with the Polish wall. The scoreboard increasingly reflected what was happening on the 40×20 court. The game was dominated from start to finish by a Poland that wants to fight for everything. Brazil did not have its day today and hopes to put up a fight against Spain tomorrow.

Matchday 2 Group A (Men’s): 13:45 – SPAIN 42 – 15 INDIA
A minimally contested match in which the Spanish University Team did not have to expend much energy to achieve a good result. Having met the objective of victory and rotating all their players, Spain reaches the third day poised to compete for the top spot in Group A. India, for its part, continues to gain experience and at times challenged the Spanish team. Noteworthy is the performance of the Indian goalkeeper, who made numerous saves on clear shots from the Spanish players.

Matchday 2 Group A (Women’s): 16:00 – INDIA 8 – 51 FRANCIA
A match to see another of the favorites to win it all, France, in action. It took them a while to get into the rhythm of the Championship, but little by little, they asserted their superiority, which was quickly reflected on the scoreboard.

Matchday 2 Group B (Women’s): 18:15 – CZECHIA 28 – 30 POLAND
A thrilling match in the battle for the top spot in Group B. Poland dominated from the 20th minute of the first half and remained ahead on the scoreboard. Czechia tried everything, even playing with 7 against 6, and got close in the final minutes, but couldn’t close the gap. Notable was the high level of goalkeeping from both teams. Poland wants to win, and the Czechia must beat Chile tomorrow and wait for the result of the Netherlands.

Matchday 2 Group A (Women’s): 20:30 – NETHERLANDS 41 – 25 CHILE
Today, Chile couldn’t contest the match against a team like the Netherlands, which came out very focused on the court and left no room for hope. With rapid transitions and solid defense, they quickly doubled the score against their opponent, leading 22-12 at halftime. The second half followed the same pattern, with Chile fighting with everything they had and the Netherlands not letting up. A good match to end Day 2.
